Your interview attire will consist of the Pretaping Attire - Turquoise top with White Pants. There will be a panel interview. Panel interviews will take place on _________TBA____________. You will need a 60 second monolog for the judges to get to know you. Then you will have a 3 minute questions and answers with the judges.

Rules and Regulations 

I hereby apply as an entrant in the MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY  Pageant (“Preliminary Pageant”), and I acknowledge and agree as follows:

 

1.        I will be at least _________________(____) and under ______________ (_____) years of age on June 2010, of the INTERNATIONAL MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY Pageant. (depending age division)

2.        I am not married, have never been married and have never had a marriage annulled.  I have never given birth to a child and I am not known pregnant nor am I a parent.  If any of these conditions change, I will notify MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS/my Preliminary director immediately, and I understand that this may affect my eligibility.  As a Ms. Delegate, I am single, divorced, widowed, and may or may not have children.  As a Mrs.  I am Married. 

3.        I have never participated in a previous INTERNATIONAL MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY Pageant.

4.        I have not participated and will not participate in any other state pageant preliminary in the MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY Pageant this year.

5.        I am of good health and moral character.

6.        I am a naturally born female.

7.        I agree that if selected to represent my CITY, ISLAND/COUNTRY/COMMONWEALTH in the MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY Pageant I will participate in the pageant and abide by all the rules and regulations governing the pageant.  I am legaly residing in the USA.

8.        Neither I nor any member of my immediate family is employed by MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS any State Director in the MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY Pageant, or any of its subsidiaries, or any of their subsidiaries or affiliated or related companies.  (IF YOU OR ANY MEMBER OF YOUR IMMEDIATE FAMILY IS EMPLOYED BY ANY OF THE FOREGOING OR CORPORATION CONTROLLED OR AFFILIATED WITH ANY FIRM OR CORPORATION CONTROLLED OR AFFILIATED WITH ANY OF THEM.  THEN YOU MUST NOTIFY YOUR STATE DIRECTOR IMMEDIATELY IN WRITING, SO THAT YOUR ELIGIBILITY MAY BE DETERMIND.)

9.        I agree that if I win or succeed to the preliminary title, state level title or the title of MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY, then I will not participate in any pageants during the time that I hold any of those titles, unless authorized in writing by MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS.

10.     I hereby release, unconditionally and forever any claim against MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY PAGEANT PAGEANTS, its parent companies and either their respective officers, directors, partners, employees, agents, and assign, which I may have by virtue of my participation in the pageant or by any use of my name, likeness voice, and or biography in connection with my state pageant, including use in promotional and ad advertising material.

11.     I understand and agree that all issues as to eligibility shall be determined by MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY PAGEANT INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS and, I agree to abide by that determination both as to myself and other applicants.   SIGNATURE______________________________________. 12.     I hereby apply for entry into the MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY Pageant, and the opportunity to compete in the state preliminary of the MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY PAGEANT.  I understand and agree that my acceptance as a state finalist and my continued consideration for the title of MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY is under the sole and complete discretion of MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS and City/Island/Country/Commonwealth Pageant Director.

13.     I understand and agree that if selected as the winner, as one of my obligations, I will go to my host City during the time required for me to appear in the MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY Pageants.

14.     I understand and agree that if I am selected as the winner, all decisions concerning my preparation for the state pageant are to be made by my Preliminary Pageant Directors.

15.     I agree to abide by all the rules of the local, national AND INTERNATIONAL contest now in effect or as announced hereafter from time to time.

16.     I hereby agree that the site, date, time productions, manner and method of judging of the local and national contests shall be solely within the discretion of MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS and the decisions of the judges shall be final.

17.     I understand and agree that if I am selected as the winner, all decisions concerning productions, promotion, photographs, programs, appearances and all the others aspects of the MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY Pageant(s), as well as throughout my reign, are solely at the discretion of my PAGEANT DIRECTOR.

18.     I further agree to permit my photograph, voice recording and name to be used without charge for all publicity and commercial purpose and any telecast of the city, state, national and international pageants.

19.     I understand that I am free to withdraw from the competition at any time but under no circumstances will I be entitle to a refund or transfer to another contestant any fee, either full or part, that I or my sponsor have paid.  There will be absolutely no exceptions to the policy.

20.     I agree that, if I am selected as the winner of my pageant, that for one year from the day of the selection my professional affairs as said winner shall be under the sole and complete management of MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS/Pageant Director and that I will not give any written or verbal endorsement of any mercantile commodity or commercial or charitable organization without obtaining specific written authority from my Pageant Director.

21.     I agree that I will make no appearances whatsoever unless official authorization is granted by MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS/ or its agents.  I understand and agree that doing so could result in the loss of my title and return any and all prizes awarded.

22.     I agree that I will not incur, and am not authorized to incur, any debts on behalf of the MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS.

23.     I voluntarily disclose that prior to the date of this pageant, I have not engaged in any activities, which if disclosed to the public, would bring or tend to bring, myself into disrepute, ridicule, or contempt.

24.     I acknowledge ownership of by MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS and the validity of the name MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY, and that I agree not to jeopardize such property rights in any manner whatsoever.

25.     Failure of the winning contestant to comply with any of the terms, provisions, restrictions or obligations hereof shall, at that option of MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL PAGEANTS result in entrant’s disqualification, loss of title and return of any and all prizes awarded.

26.     I hereby certify that I have read this official entry form and agree to be bound by all of the rules and regulations listed.  My signature below and your acceptance and agreement indicated by your signature shall constitute this entry form a binding and agreement and contract between us.

What is the pageant all about?

The Miss Caribbean Beauty Pageants system was founded to give young woman from around the world a chance to learn about the other island and countries in the world. It also gives them a chance to interact with other cultures and especially exciting is the opportunity to meet other young women with similar goals and interests while showing pride in your heritage.  At the same time pursue dreams of modeling & acting.  

I've heard of other "Caribbean
" pageants, how is this one different?

The Miss Caribbean Beauty International Pageants system was develop with education in mind.  While in other pageants you must be from the country you are representing, the Miss Caribbean Beauty International Pageants do not require you to be born in the Island or Country you have chosen to represent.  It is with this in mind that we require you as the contestant to research and learn about the Island or Country you have chosen.

Who produces the pageants?

The pageant system is produced by MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL STAFF.  Having been involved with pageants and modeling for over 20 years as a contestant, model, and producer, our staff is involved in every detail of the International pageant, making sure every contestant has an enjoyable experience and producing the highest quality pageant for young woman in the world.

How can I enter?

1. Preliminary Pageant:
If there is a preliminary pageant in your area, you must first compete in that preliminary event. The winner of the preliminary will be sent to the international pageant by the preliminary director. Fees and paperwork will be handled by the preliminary director. Runners up are eligible to continue on to the international pageant, however, they will be an "At-Large" entry (see At-Large info below).

2. At Large Entry:
You may enter the international pageant directly as an At Large delegate if there is not a preliminary in your area. You may choose the title you will represent. You are responsible for paying the deposit & sponsor fee yourself or finding sponsors to do so and you must complete and turn in paperwork.  Once at the international pageant all delegates will be treated equally. While there all delegates will visit local attractions, take part in parties, rehearsals and tapeings for the Video production.

Is there a fee to enter?

As with any competition, there is a deposit & sponsor fee. Sponsor fees may be paid by the contestant, family, friends or business sponsors. Sponsors will be recognized in the pageant program book. You may have one sponsor or many different ones.  A payment plan is available. Contestant’s title will be assigned and the crown and sash will be ordered only after payment has been paid in full.

What is not included?


Travel expenses, lodging, Competition Wardrobe, Personal expenses are not included.

Why the fees?

The fees cover the cost of the pageant production and events, including the theater, choreographer, staff, production crew, sets, lights, sound, printing, special awards, prizes, airfare and lodging for the International Queens, judges and production staff, advertising, entertainment, etc.

If I do not compete can I get a refund?

No. It is our strict policy that all fees paid including, deposit/sponsor fees, advertising, tickets, merchandise are non refundable and non transferable.

Do I need pageant or modeling experience?

No. MISS CARIBBEAN BEAUTY INTERNATIONAL staff will work with each contestant during pageant week to make sure everyone is comfortable on stage. We also hold an orientation and rehearsal to teach new contestants and help experienced contestants brush up on their skills. Some contestants have a lot of experience and some have none at all.

 
 
Will I have to buy a lot of new clothes?

No. Casual clothes are worn for rehearsals. For your interview a pair of white pants and a turquoise shirt will do. Your evening gown can be as simple or as fancy as you would like. Your swimsuit may be one or two piece, and must be solid color.

If I'm a runner-up at a preliminary pageant, can I attend Internationals?

Yes. As a preliminary runner-up you automatically become qualified to participate in the international pageant. You may decide to attend the international pageant where you will be treated the same as the preliminary titleholders.

What if there is not a preliminary pageant close to where I live?

If there is no preliminary in your area you can enter directly to the international pageant as an At-Large contestant and represent your area.

I am a legal resident but not a US citizen, can I still enter?
Yes.

I was born in another country, can I represent that country in the Miss Caribbean Beauty International Pageant?

 

Possibly, if there is not a preliminary pageant, and you are entering as an At-Large contestant you may enter the country or island of your choice.
